Glasgow Christmas Markets Dates Confirmed

Glasgow’s Christmas Markets will be back in St Enoch Square and George Square in November. The markets which are a key part of Glasgow Loves Christmas celebrations will bring all the best parts of continental markets to Glasgow’s City Centre in the run-up to Christmas.
The St Enoch’s Christmas market will open daily between 10am and 8pm from 9 November until 22 December. The festive offering at George Square will be open daily from 25 November until 29 December.
Both traditional continental markets will offer a wide selection of festive gifts and delicious street food. A warm and welcoming bar will also add to the festive atmosphere in George Square offering a mix of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
The centrepiece of the George Square market will be a traditional carousel and the iconic Big Wheel as well as a family focused street entertainment programme
Matthew Taylor, managing director at M&D’s, said: “We are looking forward to delivering truly magical Christmas markets at George Square and St Enoch’s as part of the exciting Glasgow Loves Christmas experience. As a business, we excel at bringing the magic of Christmas to life. We have listened to what our visitors are looking for from the festive season and what we will be bringing to Glasgow is set to be truly spectacular.”
As well as the Christmas Markets, Glasgow’s Christmas Lights will be switched-on on November 19. The ballot for tickets opened on 2 October and will remain open until 15 October. The Style Mile Carnival will be on Sunday 26 November, Baby’s First Christmas on 2 December and the Santa Dash on 10 December.
