Elder Park Library Set for Upgrade

Elder Park Library Set For Upgrade

Elder Park Library will undergo essential building and refurbishment works to enhance the facilities offered by the library. These works will result in the partial closure of the library from Monday 23 February for approximately three months.

During this upgrade period the library will remain open with normal opening hours. The upgrade works will enhance the décor and lighting in the library, and once the works are completed visitors will be able to enjoy the library services offered in a more attractive, comfortable, and inviting environment.

In order to complete the improvements the number of public computers will be reduced and a limited lending facility will be available. Library book loans can also be renewed and reserved online via the online library catalogue at www.glasgowlife.org.uk/libraries

Full library services will continue at nearby Ibrox and Cardonald Libraries, and Partick Library is also available via a short Underground journey.

Elder Park Library is free to join and membership gives you access to a range of wonderful benefits across Glasgow's library network and at the Mitchell Library. You can borrow and access books, enjoy events for children and young people, access CDs and DVDs, read newspapers and magazines, connect to the internet, catch up on community information, and find a quiet space to read or study.
