Make every move count
This is your chance to compete during the Games!
Note: during the games, not in the Games – this isn’t a wild card entry to the 100m sprint!
If you feel like a slice of the competition pie over Games time, get involved with the #ChampionsTrainWithTechnogym Challenge running now until the 3rd August.
What’s the challenge?
Gymmers all over the UK are collecting MOVEs by training on Technogym cardio machines. The more we train, the more MOVEs we collect. There’s a nationwide leaderboard keeping track of the number of MOVEs generated by each gym.
Help your gym to climb the rankings and come out top by jumping on a cardio machine today! If Glasgow Club finish first, we’ll win the chance to donate a Kinesis One machine to a local facility – exciting! Nothing like a good bit of teamwork eh?
How to get involved
1. Jump on a piece of Technogym cardio equipment in any of the following Glasgow Club gyms:
2. Login (Manually, via QR/NFC or key) or create a mywellness account via the equipment display.
3. Press the ‘Challenges’ button and join the challenge.
4. ‘Start MOVING!’ When logged in you can collect MOVEs by training on connected Technogym equipment. The higher the total MOVEs score is, the more your gym will climb the ranking, and the closer you get to a new Kinesis One!
Just for fun
Get your face in the Athletes’ Village!
Find the #ChampionstrainwithTechnogym pop-up stand in your gym. Write your message to the Commonwealth athletes on the special message board. Hold it up and say cheese! (Make sure your camera’s on selfie mode!)
Tweet your selfie and make sure you tag it with @GlasgowClub and #ChampionsTrainWithTechnogym so that it gets pulled through to the Athletes’ Village social wall.
And if that's not enough excitement for one day, look out for special hangers on Technogym equipment, detailing how you could win a foldable home treadmill worth £2950 or one of 5 Wellness Ball Active Sitting runner up prizes.
