Now then, this is definitely different. If you want to break free the confines of conformity (Wow, sounds like Pride and Prejudice; sorry we get a bit carried away here sometimes) then get yourself signed up to a bootcamp straight away.
 
I bet you never thought pushing a tractor tyre up a hill or scrambling through a cargo net could possibly help you get fit, but you’d be wrong. The fact is you are using every part of your body, working muscles you never knew you had. The cross training concept is perfect for improving all round fitness, and the variety of tasks you have to perform in any one session also keeps the mind sharp.

And don’t think you have to be G.I. Jane or Rambo to take part; although if you fancy slapping on the war paint, don’t let us stop you. Because everyone is working together, encouraging each other it’s a great way to build fitness and confidence, no matter how fit you are.
 
The camps involve two, hour long sessions a week over a six week block from a number of Glasgow Club centres across the city. Signing up will guarantee a whole different fitness experience in the great outdoors – so a change of cloths is a must given our cracking weather – and the chance to compete for your troop in an end of term challenge.
