​What can you possibly buy them for Christmas? All out of ideas after last years spa treatment at that posh hotel? Or that driving experience. 

Well what about the gift of health and fitness with some Personal Training sessions?   

Now, before you say it, it's not what you think. When you think of personal training are you picturing Hollywood stars shelling out thousands of pounds per session to a famous fitness expert who has half a dozen work-out DVD’s under their belt?

Well the Glasgow Club we believe personal training should be open to everyone, not just the rich and famous. 

But what exactly are the benefits of personal training?

Well first and foremost it is great motivation. If will power has always been problem when it comes to exercise or training has become a bit stale then a personal training session is ideal.

It starts with an initial consultation to find out what the goals are. For example, loose weight, improve strength, get fitter, or maybe shave some time off your 10k personal best.

With their expertise, our personal trainers will be able to develop a programme specifically suited to your needs. 

Just as importantly, this programme will be adapted as time goes on to ensure you are maximising your results. And you will know you are doing it safely!!

I started personal trainer with Maria after spending hours in the gym and not seeing any results. On my first session I could only run for 8 mins which for my age is quite poor. As the sessions went on I was increasing the running by a minute at a time but by session 12 I could run for 20 mins non-stop!
