Excel in Coaching – Coach Development Programme
The Glasgow Sport Coach Scholarship Scheme is being re-launched as the Excel in Coaching Programme. The new programme shall have a focus on allowing coaches to be the best coach they can be at their chosen level.
The programme aims to support voluntary coaches with a package of coach education. This could be a visit to observe a high level coach in the UK/aboard for a few days or a talk/discussion with a coaching expert.
The programme is not a coach grants scheme that aims to move coaches from Level One to Level Two. This option may be available for coaches but this programme aims to support a coach’s development through tailor made opportunities for individual coaches or small groups.
