Glasgow Eagles Scoop Sports Award

Eagles beat off the strong competition to win best sports initiative at inaugural Glasgow Awards

The Crown Plaza welcome the first ever Glasgow Awards on the 13th April, aimed at celebrating everything that is great about Glasgow . The Awards are designed to reward those individuals, businesses and organisations that are indispensable to the cities success.
From our outstanding restaurants, to our unique bars and pubs, to our museums, live music venues and our eclectic array of shopping centres and of course the Sporting Initiative Category
Glasgow Eagles nomination was support  by James Macdonald and his wife Lisa. James is new to the Eagles this season but has gone above and beyond both as a player and volunteer for the club getting his whole family involved in club life.

Eagles beat off the strong competition to win this award recognising the club's development as an asset to basketball throughout the city.

This is a testament to Alec's Watt’s (Chairperson) hard work, commitment and continuous endeavours to make the club inclusive for everyone and continually striving to raise the profile of the club.

Congratulations must also go to the other nominee's in the Sporting Initiative Category were:
