Last week, Thursday 29th May, schools from the length and breadth of Glasgow came to Toryglen Football Centre to participate in the Glasgow Schools Secondary Football Finals. This was a culmination of a year’s football activity that saw schools participate in 7v7 Leagues on Tuesday evenings. After pulsating day of Football the winners were:

  2. S1/S3 Boys – St Ninian’s High
  3. S1-S4 Girls – Holyrood Secondary

Full list of schools that took part across the categories were:

Thanks to all who took part and have attended throughout the year.

The success of the programme is largely down to the commitment of volunteers from local FE colleges, City of Glasgow College and Glasgow Clyde College – Cardonald.

We look forward to the programme continuing next year in association with our partners at Education Services.
