An Opportunity has arisen for young volunteers age 14-19 in Glasgow to take part in an exciting project. “An Inclusive Future” will bring together young people with and without disabilities, to work alongside each other to support and deliver physical activities in schools and communities. The innovative and integrated approach will bring together young people from Glasgow to deliver an inspirational training camp which will include volunteer workshops and inclusive sport taster sessions. The most committed young people will have the chance to attend a national camp where they will develop leadership skills, preparing and equipping them to inspire and motivate their peers.
Along with great training opportunities the volunteers will work with a range of partners to develop and implement the project. The role will help build relationships with key stakeholders by improving opportunities for disabled and non disabled young people by accessing local sporting opportunities and events from a volunteer perspective.
