A great well done to everyone who took part in our Marathon training sessions last year! You all did an absolutely fantastic job and we are very proud of the progress you all made! This years courses start in February, see below for details.
Marathon Training with the running network
Our 16 week course includes:
1 x weekly long run gradually building in distance.
2-4 x weekly network sessions, various days and times. Our coaches will arrange sessions to suit you.
Full training programme.
Fully qualified and experienced coaches.

Criteria for joining
Able to run for approximately 1 hour without stopping (this course starts at 6 miles).
Able to run 10k in approximately 65 minutes or less or a half marathon in 2 hours 15 minutes or less.
If you're interested in taking part our course will commence on 1st February 2014 and run until 17th May 2014. Week one of the course will take place at Glasgow Club Gorbals where you will be provided with an introduction to the course and be given a Marathon Training Diary, which provides details on the weekly mileage and location of the sessions, which will alternate between various Glasgow Club venues throughout the duration of the course. Week one also includes a 6 mile run! Details of week one are outlined below and don't forget to check out our Facebook page!

The sessions will alternate between; Glasgow Club Gorbals, Glasgow Club Bellahouston, Glasgow Club Scotstoun and the Emirates arena.
How Much does it cost?
The full course costs £85 for non members. For any existing members of the Running Network or Glasgow Club Fitness Unlimited members you can take part in the course for the bargain price of £60!
