Throughout Glasgow, clubs operate offering differing levels of participation and competition to a variety of age groups and abilities.
Clubs are active in recruitment and welcome all new players, coaches and volunteers.
Clubs provide Basketball competition opportunities at Local and National League Level for:
- Cadet/Junior Girls and Boys (Under 16/18)
- Senior Men + Women

SOUTH
CUCKOO BASKETBALL CLUB
Based in the Southside of Glasgow and started in 2007, Cuckoo are a clubmark accreditated club, very passionate about basketball and the youth.
They have a very strong youth development program with high levels of coaching at sessions Cuckoo play in the SLBA both U16 and U18. Currently they have 3 U12 teams based in the local area.
Members ages range from 9 years to 17 years.

NORTH EAST
GLASGOW CITY BASKETBALL CLUB
Glasgow City Basketball Club are Club Mark basketball club. They welcome players of all ages and abilities and believe that Basketball should be open to all by keeping the costs of anyone joining to a minimum.
Volunteers who wish to be involved in the club in either coaching or management position are welcomed.

GLASGOW EAGLES (SPECIAL NEEDS) SPORTS CLUB
Club Accreditation – Council Club mark Approved. Coaching, Volunteering, Competition and recreational activities are available; the club is open to all.

GLASGOW RENS BASKETBALL CLUB
Competing in the Scottish National League at Junior (Under 18) and Cadet (Under 16). Both teams in Division One. Coaches for both teams are qualified to UKCC Level 3.

GLASGOW ROCKS (JUNIOR AND CADET MEN)
Glasgow Rocks Academy (Boys 10-14 yrs), Glasgow Rocks Cadet Men (U16 National League) and Glasgow Rocks Junior Men (U18 National League and Strathclyde League. Our Academy is open to new members. Our aim is to develop players within this age group in key areas of basketball skill development, physical fitness and knowledge of the games.

Glasgow Storm is a basketball club with teams that compete in the Scottish National League and the Strathclyde local league. It has both male and female teams at various levels.
