Glasgow Sport's Gymnastics programmes cater for children of all abilities between the ages of 18 months and 16 years.
Pre-School Gymnastics
These classes are for children between the ages of 18 months to 3 years and 3 to 5 years. They take place on soft play equipment and concentrate on prime mover abilities, hand to eye co-ordination, balance and social interaction.
Parents stay with their children in the 18 months to 3 years class, however in the 3 to 5 years old group the children stay in class themselves along side our team of coaches.
Recreation (level 2 gymnastics)
These classes are for children of school age. They focus on the core components of gymnastics including floor work, apparatus based work and conditioning. Children who show development potential in these classes will be invited to level 3 classes.
Development (level 3 gymnastics)
These classes are by coach invitation only. They are for gymnasts who show development potential and talent. Classes are continually monitored to ensure children have the best possibility to progress in the sport at a high level. Children who show exceptional talent may be invited to join the City of Glasgow Gymnastics Club for elite performance.

Priority Bookings
Class numbers are strictly limited. To ensure a place within the same class you must book re-book within the priority period. Failure to do so will result in the place in the class being offered elsewhere. Class changes can only be made in the priority booking class change dates and it cannot be guaranteed the desired class will be available due to demand.
Please note classes on bank holidays are subject to centre opening times. Please check with your centre to find out if your classes are affected.
Please Note: All classes must be booked at the appropriate centre. Bookings cannot be taken by phone.
Refund Policy
- A full refund can only be given if you notify the facility that your child cannot attend, as early as possible, before week 1 commences.
- After week 1, a half refund can be offered before week 2 commences if customer has unexpected medical reasons.
- Unfortunately no refund can be offered after week 3. However in the event of long term sickness, please contact the Gymnastics Development Team on 0141 287 5948.
- On occasion a lesson may be cancelled at short notice. In the event of this happening, Gymnastics Development will advise the facility and customer if the lesson is to be re-scheduled or refunded.
