The City of Glasgow Swim Team (COGST) was formed in 1993 and now has over 330 members. Progression is by group and age; the youngest members being 5-7 year olds within the Junior Development - Bronze squads through to the most experienced members of the Seniors and Masters groups.

The aim of the club is to provide a swim programme recognised for excellence to swimmers of all levels and the opportunity for every swimmer with the desire and commitment to progress from novice to champion. Membership of COGST is available to any child in the community who has the capability and desire to swim competitively.
