Glasgow Sport worked in partnership with City of Glasgow Swim Team and Scottish Swimming last year established a performance section of the swim team. This squad provides training opportunities for Institute Swimmers who are studying in Glasgow. This squad has swimmers who are competing at an International level. Entry into this squad of the swim team is at the discretion of the Performance coach.
