New AED and CPR course
This is a half day course and is aimed at individuals aged 16+ of all abilities. The purpose of this course is to train individuals in the use of an AED and how to correctly and confidently perform CPR. This qualification which is certified by the Royal Life Saving Society is valid for 2 years following completion of the course.

UKCC Teaching Aquatic Level 1
The UKCC Level 1 course is the first stage of the UKCC coaching ladder. By successfully completing Level 1 Teaching Aquatic course, as part of a UKCC endorsed coach education programme, coaches will be able prepare, deliver, and evaluate activities. The course duration is 36 hours over various dates. Minimum age for course is 16.
UKCC Teaching Aquatic Level 2
This qualification is aimed at those interested in delivering the teaching programme in a ‘learn to swim’ environment. This process utilises Scottish Swimming’s ‘Learn to Swim’Programme or other equivalent schemes.
The Level 2 certificate for Teaching Aquatics is an all inclusive qualification and sits as the second formally assessed qualification on the teaching qualifications pathway. Its focus is on ‘how to teach/coach’ skills. The qualification is designed to be delivered and assessed using a combination of theory and practice, with approximately 65 hours over various dates. Candidates must hold the SQA / UKCC, ASA / UKCC Level1 or STA Level 2 qualification and must be over 18 years of age.
