The Venue

Possilpoint Community Centre is managed by Glasgow Life on behalf of Glasgow City Council, as a resource for the local community.  It was originally built in 1980 and was opened in April 1981, by William Harley J.P.

Possilpoint Community Centre can be used for a variety of community, social and commercial activities, including but not restricted to meetings, small conferences, classes, clubs, arts and crafts, sports activities, dance classes, birthday parties, christening/communion receptions, slimming clubs and martial arts classes.  To make a booking enquiry, please call us on 0141 336 4057.

Experienced staff are always on hand to assist with any special requirements.

Please note that in accordance with Government Policy, smoking is not permitted in Possilpoint Community Centre or our surrounding grounds.

    Minimum Let duration is 1 hour.  Lets for part of an hour will be charged at the hourly rate.  Please note that all rooms are wheelchair accessible.

Possilpoint Community Centre has no in house catering or kitchen facilities. 

Parking and Public Transport

There is a car park at Possilpoint Community Centre, providing free off-street parking.  There is also on-street parking available in the immediate area. 
Hawthorn Street, Balmore Road and Saracen Street are all nearby and all offer good public transport links, making the centre easily accessible by bus.
