Ruchazie Community Centre

The Venue

Ruchazie Community Centre is managed by Glasgow Life on behalf of Glasgow City Council, as a resource for the local community.  It was originally built in 1981 and was officially opened by Charles O'Halloran.

Ruchazie Community Centre can be used for a variety of community, social and commercial activities, including but not restricted to meetings, small conferences, classes, clubs, arts and crafts, sports activities, dance classes, birthday parties, engagement parties, christening/communion receptions, slimming clubs and martial arts classes.  To make a booking enquiry, please call us on 0141 774 0670.

Experienced staff are always on hand to assist with any special requirements.

Please note that in accordance with Government Policy, smoking is not permitted in Ruchazie Community Centre or our surrounding grounds.

Minimum Let duration is 1 hour.  Lets for part of an hour will be charged at the hourly rate.  Please note all rooms are wheelchair accessible, with the exception of the Lower Lounge, unless accessed via the gym hall.

Catering

Free access to the kitchen with booking, to make tea/coffee or to warm up pre-prepared food.  Must bring own supplies.
 

Parking and Public Transport

There is a car park offering free off-street parking to the side of the Community Centre and there is also additional free on-street parking in the immediate area.

The centre is located on Gartloch Road, which has good public transport links, making the centre easily accessible by bus.
