Children's Programme Volunteer - Various Locations

Volunteers will assist and support the delivery of children’s play activities. They will get the opportunity to deliver a range of activities including; Games, Sports, Arts, Crafts and themed activities around local events and festivals. The activities provide a great opportunity to work with young people in a relaxed recreational setting focused on the enjoyment and needs of the participants.
To support their role volunteers will be given access to PVG registration, Child Protection Training as well as any delivery specific training that is available through Glasgow Life and its’ partners.

  • Time requirement (number of hours per day/week) Minimum 2.5Hours/Week; Maximum 10hours/Week
  • Defined Hours 1 or more of the following: Tuesdays 4.15 – 6.45 Wednesdays 4.45 – 7.15 Thursdays 3.45 – 6.15 Fridays 4.45 – 7.15
  • Additional information The opportunity starts in January 2014 & lasts for 1 year. Relevant training will be provided. Volunteer ID badge and polo shirt will be supplied. Travel and out of pocket expenses will be available to volunteers. You will be supported by a Mentor.
