Children's Programme Volunteer - Drumchapel Library

Volunteers will assist and support the delivery of children’s arts and crafts activities. This activity provides a great opportunity to work with young people in a relaxed recreational setting focused on the enjoyment and needs of the participants.
To support their role volunteers will be given access to PVG registration, Child Protection Training as well as any delivery specific training that is available through Glasgow Life and its’ partners.

  • Time requirement (number of hours per day/week) 1.5hrs per week
  • Defined Hours Thursdays 5.45pm – 7.15pm
  • Additional information Start date: January 2014 (1 year) Volunteers will wear an ID badge and polo shirt will also be supplied. Travel and out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed to volunteers (monthly). All Glasgow Life volunteers have a staff mentor.
