Kelvin Hall Volunteer Tour Guides

  • Service Area Museums
  • Type of Opportunity

The Kelvin Hall is a partnership between Glasgow Life, acting on behalf of Glasgow City Council, The Hunterian at the University of Glasgow and the Moving Image Archive at National Library of Scotland.

We would love to increase our team of Volunteer Tour Guides at Kelvin Hall and are looking for members of our community in particular who speak Arabic and Urdu and/or additional languages.   Our current volunteers offer tours of the facilities to groups who are interested in the history and heritage of Kelvin Hall and we want to add the offer of these tours in additional languages.

Volunteers will have the opportunity to help visitors engage with Kelvin Hall in a variety of new and interesting ways and will benefit from practicing their language and communication skills, whilst being part of a team of enthusiastic and friendly volunteer tour guides.
