North East Community Events Activity Volunteers

​Glasgow Life is offering an opportunity for volunteers to deliver activities to children and young people at community events across the North East of the City. A training programme will run throughout May & June 2014 covering activities such as face painting, tattoo art, balloon modelling, arts & crafts, play activities, graffiti art, magic and circus skills. Volunteers can chose to attend the whole programme or just attend sessions that interest them. We ask that volunteers are available to attend community events running on Sunday 20th July, Sunday 27th July, Monday 28th July as well as signing up to attend a further 5 events / activities over the summer and beyond. ​​

  • Any restrictions (gender/age) Minimum age is 16. There is no maximum age.

  • Time requirement (number of hours per day/week) Attendance at 8 Glasgow Life events / activities throughout 2014

  • Additional information The opportunity is from May 2014 onwards. Venues offer wheelchair access. Travel expenses will be re-imbursed 4 weekly.
