Volunteer Gardening Tutor

​​Volunteer Gardening Tutors assist Glasgow Life staff to work with adults and young people to work in small garden spaces and window boxes. You will pass on your skills that the project participants can then use in their own houses and other community gardening programmes. 

This role would particularly suit someone who has experience in gardening and/or other environmental programmes and who would like to pass on their skills.

  • Skills/attributes/experience Knowledge of and skills in gardening are essential
  • Time requirement (number of hours per day/week) Ideally, volunteers should be able to commit to a minimum of 3 months, donating 3-6 hours per week, for up to one year
  • Defined Hours Evenings or weekends
  • Additional information A PVG scheme check will be required for this opportunity and reasonable out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed monthly.
