Australia vs Namibia

NAMIBIA "PLAYED THEIR HEARTS OUT" AGAINST DEFENDING CHAMPIONS

Australia keep their campaign looking strong after another win over Namibia, but Namibia did not go down without a fight.

They put on an admirable show against the reigning champions, including some impressive three foot marking which resulted in good tips for the team.

Jaubuaije Zuana, Namibia's only GS, was a strong presence in their attacking third and got those all important goals in.

"I'm very proud of them" Edward Pienaar, the Namibian Head coach, said,"they played their hearts out."

However, they were no match to Australia's imposing presence on the court.

Australia continued to thrill and inspire the fans with their superb accuracy in the shooting circle, namely Cody Lange scoring 21 from 22 and Kristina Brice, 33 from 34.

They ended on 91 goals to Namibia's 17, having embedded a sizeable half time lead of 41-10.

Yet Coach Carol Byers is still looking for more. "We really want to continue working on our timing and our connections so we continue to build."

Australia face Fiji tomorrow whilst the African nation clash between Namibia and South Africa takes place on Monday.
