ENGLAND FLY PAST SINGAPORE
All of England's 12 member squad contributed to the win over Asia's only representative Singapore, planting the European side firmly at the top of group D at the end of day 3.
Singapore's naturally slight athlete body shape and size forced them to approach the game differently, and they put on a good display of sharp passing around the court and close man on man defending.
England were forceful in their attacking of the ball however, and their shooting army of five amassed an impressive 86% success rate on target, helping stamp an 82-27 win.
Winning all quarters comfortably, England were never threatened, however Coach Colette Thomson wasn't happy with her team's start, saying there was lots of work to be done in that area.
"I was disappointed with some of the errors… but they stepped up in the second quarter."
England will play Papua New Guinea tomorrow who lost to Singapore on day 2, and Singapore will face Barbados who beat Republic of Ireland convincingly.
