Q: How do I know if I’m eligible for a card?
A: You need to either live in Glasgow (i.e. you or your parents pay Council Tax to Glasgow City Council) or attend a School/College/University within the Glasgow City boundary.
Q: Where can I get a Glasgow Young Scot Card application form?
A: You can pick up an application form from:
- Your school office (if you attend a Glasgow City Council School)
- Any Glasgow Library
- Any Glasgow Leisure Centre
- Download it from here
Q: Can I hand my application form in and get my card straight away?
A: After handing your card into your nearest Glasgow Library, it takes a few weeks for us to process the form. Your card will be posted out to your home address when it is ready.
Q: How long does it take to get my card?
A: After we receive your application form at your local library it can take between 7 – 10 working days for the card to reach you. If you haven’t received it by then please call 0141 276 0727.
Q: I want to join the gym but I haven’t got my Glasgow Young Scot Card yet, can I join now?
A: You need your card to join the gym at the discounted Glasgow Young Scot price.
Q: Can I change the photo on my Glasgow Young Scot Card?
A: Yes. You need to get a new up to date picture taken, complete an application form and ask a photo referee to sign and verify the back of your photo and P4 of the form.
