Culture and Sport Glasgow*
(referred to in this privacy policy as “CSG*” or “we” or “us”) delivers
cultural and leisure services on behalf of Glasgow City Council. These
services include the management and promotion of the Glasgow Young Scot
and Kidz Card.
In terms of the Data Protection Act 1998,
(referred to in this privacy policy as “the 1998 Act”), CSG* and the
Council are joint data controllers of the information that you or your
parent or guardian has supplied to this web-site.
All personal
data collected through the registration process for the email alert
service will be processed by CSG*, in accordance with the Data
Protection Act 1998 for the purpose of providing you with the email
alert service. This will enable us to send you information about new
offers, services and competitions electronically.
These email
alerts are intended exclusively for Glasgow Young Scot/Kidz Card
holders, and you should not register unless either you have a Glasgow
Young Scot/Kidz Card, or you are the parent/guardian of a Glasgow Young
Scot/Kidz Card holder under 12 years of age.
All email alerts
sent as part of this service will clearly state that they are being sent
on behalf of CSG* in relation to Glasgow Young Scot and Kidz Card, and
they shall include an "opt out" so that you (or your parent or guardian)
can choose not to receive any email alerts in future.
CSG* will
not sell, lend or rent your personal information to any other person or
organisations. However, we may make information available to law
enforcement authorities in particular cases, as required or permitted by
law.
