The Scottish Youth Parliament represents young people in Scotland and is dedicated to the delivery of positive outcomes for Scotland’s young people by helping them make an impact on the issues they are passionate about.
It gives young people a voice by connecting them with local, national and international decision-making to allow them to influence and make the link to democracy and politics, as well as helping them understand their rights as a young person.

Just a few of the campaigns the Scottish Youth Parliament have worked on:
Love Equally
SYP’s campaign for marriage equality.
Campaigning to live in a Scotland where two people who love each other should be able to get married.
One Fair Wage
Encourages organisations to pledge their support for a Scottish Living Wage.
SYP believes everyone in Scotland deserves to earn at least enough to live on. We believe it's obscene for people to be working whilst still trapped in poverty.
