Ticket types

All-access festival pass - £40 (early bird), £50 (full price)

Individual tickets - from £5

The festival pass is now available to purchase at the early bird price of £40. This offer is only valid for a limited time and will then go up to £50. Tickets to individual events will be available to purchase at a later date. 

The festival pass gives you access to all author events taking place between 14 - 23 May 2021. Please note, content will only be available for three weeks after the on-air date (unless otherwise stated). Excludes creative writing workshops and Wee Write.

The pre-festival event on 28 April with Chris Brookmyre, Denise Mina & Louise Welsh is available through the pass and also as an individual event ticket. All other tickets to individual events will be available to purchase at the end of April.

How to purchase

If you would like to book a festival pass, please click on the 'Buy' button on the homepage at www.glasgowlifetv.com

You will be able to browse individual event details (when they go on sale at the end of April) via the Browse menu tab. You can also browse events on the Glasgow Life website.

To book a festival pass or event, simply click on the festival pass or event you would like to purchase. Here you will be able to watch a trailer and see the full details of the event/s. To book the festival pass or event click the 'Buy' button. This will take you to a secure payment page. Here you can choose whether you are purchasing for yourself or as a gift for a family member or friend.

 

Create an account

If purchasing for yourself, you will be asked to create an account (use details you will remember as this is the account you will use to access the event/s). Please note this is an account for our dedicated video streaming site - other login details that you have with the Mitchell Library or Glasgow Royal Concert Hall box offices will not work. Once you have created an account, enter your payment details and click Complete Purchase.

 

How to view

You will receive an email confirmation with details of your purchase. You can use this email to access your account to watch your purchase, once the festival begins in May. You can also visit www.vhx.tv/library, login with your account details and watch the festival pass or event you bought*. In most cases, events will be available to view for a 3 week period after their initial broadcast date unless it states in the event copy that the event is only available during the scheduled broadcast time.

*If you have pre-ordered an event the event will become live on the broadcast date published in the concert description.

 

Can I book a ticket or festival pass for a friend?

Yes, you can gift a ticket or festival pass to a family member or friend. Simply click on the product you would like to purchase and select 'Gift This' on the payment page. If you have already purchased a pass for yourself, you may need to log out before you are able to purchase a gift.
