Arts & Music

From Thursday 17 January to Sunday 3 February 2019, Celtic Connections will take place in venues throughout Glasgow. Over 300 events will be included in the largest winter music festival of its kind.

The 18 days of entertainment will brighten up the dark, wet January nights with a mixture of concerts, talks, workshops, film screenings, theatre productions, ceilidhs, exhibitions, free events and late-night sessions.

Glasgow Museums 

Dippy, the Natural History Museum’s iconic Diplodocus dinosaur skeleton, is coming to Glasgow!

As part of a road trip across the UK, Dippy is venturing out of London for the first time since 1905. He will visit Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum from 22 January – 6 May 2019.

Admission is FREE to the Dippy on Tour exhibition at Kelvingrove Museum.
