Balgrayhill Community Centre is managed by Glasgow Life on behalf of Glasgow City Council as a resource for the local community. It was originally built on 3rd December 1988 and opened by Lord Provost Susan Baird.

Balgrayhill Community Centre can be hired for a variety of community, social and commercial activities, including but not restricted to meetings, small conferences, classes, clubs, arts and crafts, sports activities, dance classes, birthday parties, engagement parties, christening/communion receptions, slimming clubs and martial arts classes. Experienced staff are on hand to assist with any special requirements.

Please note that in accordance with Government policy, smoking is not permitted in Balgrayhill Community Centre, or our surrounding grounds.

  • Room 3 (Capacity 30)
  • Lesser Hall (Capacity 40)
  • Main Hall (Capacity 80)

Please note that only the Lesser Hall and the Main Hall are wheelchair accessible, as Room 1 and Room 3 are located on the upper floor.

Minimum Let is 1 hour. Lets for part of an hour will be charged at the hourly rate.

Free access to the kitchen with booking, to make tea/coffee or to warm up pre-prepared food. Please note you must bring your own supplies.
