Amy Helm and Andrew Combs

Amy Helm has American roots music in her blood. The daughter of The Band’s legendary drummer, Levon Helm, she soaked up Americana, gospel, blues and country influences before becoming a founder-member of alt-country collective Ollabelle. Her recently released second album, This Too Shall Light finds her commanding material by writers ranging from New Orleans oracle Allen Toussaint to the Milk Carton Kids.

Texas-born Andrew Combs is a singer-songwriter who turns commonplace events into meaningful song-pictures. Previously likened to everyone from Leonard Cohen to Harry Nilsson to Nick Drake, with his latest album, Canyons of My Mind Combs has established a strong, very personal style.
