Big Music for Minis: Music making with Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra (ages 1 – 7)

Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra (GIO) invites children to take part in group improvised music making. 

Join a group of GIO musician/educators for an exploration of sound and music. The music in each of the sessions will be created by our musicians together with the children taking part – a different musical adventure develops every time!

GIO has a special interest in creating new ways of enabling creative communication in their workshops. They use a variety of strategies specifically tailored to each group with the aim of children developing their creative agency as part of a group.
