As a last hurrah for the 20th birthday festivities that kicked off at Celtic Connections 2018, instrumental supergroup Blazin’ Fiddles reprise their recent Celtic Sessions tour, featuring Capercaillie’s Karen Matheson. The set-list mixes recent material with resurrected favourites from both acts, including lavish new arrangements of Matheson’s songs, and despite now reaching the traditional age of majority, the Blazers are still sure to party like it’s 1998. . .

A major hit on their first Celtic Connections visit in 2018, the Galician group Tanxugeiras combine radiantly forthright singing with fiendishly intricate rhythms on pandeieras and other traditional frame-drums, accompanied by piper/accordionist Manuel Amigo.
