For the last 10 years CAFOLLA has fronted the award-winning ‘Federation of the Disco Pimp'. During this time he has written for and led the band through 2 Studio albums, 1 Live album, a BBC One residency as the house band for ‘Tonight at the Games’ (2014 Commonwealth Games), collaborated with music legends such as Pee Wee Ellis (James Brown, Van Morrison) and shared the stage with the likes of Nile Rodgers & CHIC, George Clinton & Parliament, Grandmaster Flash, Sister Sledge, Snarky Puppy and James Taylor Quartet to name but a few.

CAFOLLA’s debut solo album “Cowboys & Africans” comes hot on the heels of his “1985” single that was received & reviewed to critical acclaim. The album is a no holds barred commentary from CAFOLLA about today’s society & ruling classes, it questions us all on where we stand, and sonically, it’s carved out a big sound that indulges the audiophile. “Cowboys & Africans” draws on the Soul of “Songs in the Key of Life”, “What’s Going On”, “Black Messiah” to name a few, continuing these messages for today, when we need it as much as ever.
