After more than 30 years at the forefront of Irish-American music, the seemingly ageless Cherish the Ladies return for the UK launch of their latest album Heart of the Home – with the band’s hearts and home belonging staunchly to Glasgow nearly every January. Adding to numerous other accolades, the Ladies’ whistle virtuoso and unfailingly ebullient frontwoman - already enshrined in US folk annals by a specially-penned Liz Carroll slip-jig, ‘Are You Joanie Madden?’ - recently received the 2018 Irish American Writers & Artists Eugene O’Neill Lifetime Achievement Award, for “exceptional influence on traditional Irish music in America and worldwide”. With the lineup for this special concert featuring Cherish the Ladies members Joanie Madden, Mary Coogan, Mirella Murray, Scotland’s own Kathleen Boyle with special guests revered Irish fiddler Nollaig Casey, the outstanding voices of Don Stiffe, Kate Purcell and Molly O’Riordan aided by guest instrumentalists Danú’s Donnchadh Gough, Lúnasa’sTrevor Hutchinson along with the spectacular dancing Glasgow audiences love to see provided by David Geaney, Cara Butler, Declan McHale, Seamus O’Flatharta, Gavlin Shevlin, Jon and Nathan Pilatzke.

Wheelchair access
Wheelchair access is from the Killermont Street entrance (North Entrance) only. From this entrance, there is Lift access to all levels.

Free wifi
Yes, there is free public Wifi access. To connect, visitors have to register with the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall Public Wifi which should pop up on their browser. After that visitors will only need their password for future uses.
