Dare to Speak Poetry and Spoken Word Night is back for LGBT History Month 2019!
Join us in our third year to hear new work from LGBTQIA spoken word poets and their favourites from the queer canon.
There will be a workshop prior to the evening event for those wanting to brush up on their writing skills, hosted by University of Glasgow Creative Writing PhD student Tawnya Renelle. Tawnya will offer prompts and guidance to help you create a new work (works in progress also welcome). Participants will have the opportunity to read their work at the evening Dare to Speak event.
