Kelvingrove Museum welcomes Dippy the Diplodocus on tour from the Natural History Museum. So why not also come along and find out about the amazing variety of fossils in Glasgow Museums' collection? Travel back in time to see the huge range of fossil animals that tell the fascinating story of Scotland over millions of years. Find out about the weird and wonderful creatures that lived in the sea and examine giant trees from tropical swamps that covered Glasgow. What are fossils and how do they form?

GMRC is a short walk from Nitshill train station, and the path is clearly signposted. Trains run regularly between Nitshill and Glasgow Central train station with a reduced service on Sunday.
