After the 12-year wait for his second solo album Era, launched at Celtic Connections 2017, Mànran accordionist and Take the Floor presenter Gary Innes - clearly on a creative roll - now unveils his third, Imminent. Its array of original compositions once again showcases Innes’s gifts for melody, richly diverse arrangements, and vivid sense of place. Special guests for the occasion are Karen Matheson, Kim Carnie, Ali Hutton, Steve Byrnes, Hamish Napier, Ewen Henderson and Conal McDonagh.
With a wide-ranging repertoire of Scottish and Irish music, flautist/saxophonist Savannah Donohoe and guitarist Charlie Galloway won a Danny Kyle Open Stage Award in 2018, and are soon to release their debut album.
