From frenetic fiddle tunes to heartfelt love songs, Glasgow-based Gnoss perform music that stirs the blood. After scooping the Danny Kyle Award in 2015, they notched up folk industry accolades before delivering two sold-out Celtic Connection shows in 2019 and 2020. Combining outstanding musicianship, deep traditional roots and contemporary compositional flair, bandmates Aidan Moodie, Graham Rorie, Connor Sinclair and Craig Baxter “pushed ourselves into new spaces musically” to create their sophomore album, The Light of the Moon. It was hailed by Folk Radio as “a thoroughly handsome, captivating, and joyful recording with a real feel-good vibe guaranteed to make you smile”. Their gig is sure to do likewise.
