Its vividly evocative suite of tunes and songs also features Patsy Reid, Ewan Robertson, James Lindsay, Findlay Napier and Fraser Stone.
Also on a travelling theme, former BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year Claire Hastings launches her second album Those Who Roam, a set of traditional and original songs exploring journeys of different kinds, with accompanists including guitarist Jenn Butterworth and pianist Tom Gibbs.
