Born in Glasgow, Mary Rose Liverani moved to Australia as a youth and trained as a journalist, working with the Sydney Press as a feature writer, columnist and book reviewer.

Join in the discussion of Mary Rose's second book "Sicily. A Captive Land" prompted by her travels and extensive visits to Sicily and described as a "thoroughly researched and fascinating guide".
