Ever wondered why your press releases never get published?  This workshop hosted by Integris Communications (www.integriscomms.co.uk )will show you how to write press releases that get published, including:

    •    How to structure a release for maximum results
    •    What are the hot spots which will get the media’s attention
    •    Who to target and how to contact them
    •    How to reuse press release content for social media

Integris has been providing PR and media relations services for 25 years to a variety of clients from start-ups to multinationals primarily in the technology, manufacturing, electronics and b2b sectors.
The workshop will be led by Integris directors Mike Reynolds and Michael Donaldson. 


Mike Reynolds
Mike is a PR professional with over 30 years’ experience in journalism, PR and marketing having worked for Financial Times publications and the London Evening Standard as well as holding senior management positions with a number of top tier PR agencies including Harvard PR and WPP plc. 

  
Michael Donaldson 
Michael has a Masters degree in PR and trained at the BBC in Glasgow. He has a background in journalism and copywriting and specialises in writing first-class copy which gets clients noticed, both in the B2C and B2B space.  Michael has substantial experience in the telecom/mobile and tech sectors, and has excellent contacts in the trade, national and international press.

Event takes place in Moir Dyer Simpson room in The Mitchell Library.

This accessible toilet is approximately 26m (28yd 1ft) from the main entrance. This accessible toilet is located to the rear right as you enter.

Assistance dogs

Guide and assistance dogs are welcome and a bowl of water can be provided. 

Hearing loop

There is a fixed loop hearing assistance system.

This venue does not play background music.

Wheelchair access

There is a wheelchair to borrow. To borrow the wheelchair, please contact a member of staff.

Motorised scooters are allowed in public parts of the venue.

The Café is open Monday to Saturday 9am to 4.15pm.

Parking

Please note that there is on-street surrounding The Mitchell Library, from 8am-6pm Monday to Friday this is metered. As this is also a local residential area, please use these spaces considerately. Alternatively, there is an a NCP Car Park on India Street next to Charing Cross Train Station which is a 2 minute walk away. 

Photography and video recording

On occasion, Glasgow Life will be on the premises to film and take photos.
