'Life in the Gorbals' is a trilogy of novels by Kate Donne, following the exploits of young Bobby 'Chicken Legs' Muldoon. Growing up in 1960's Gorbals, Bobby uses his sharp, witty sense of humour to overcome the obstacles that life throws at him. The trilogy has now been successfully adapted for the stage.
Join us at Gorbals Library as Kate talks about her life and works, shares some of Bobby's 'wit & wisdom' and tells us about her plans for next year, when the two act play 'Life in The Gorbals' goes out to audiences across Scotland.
