Uniting the diasporan traditions of Scotland, Cape Breton and Prince Edward Island, the trio of US-born piper Ben Miller (an alumnus of Edinburgh’s School of Scottish Studies), fiddler, Gaelic singer and stepdancer Anita MacDonald and PEI guitarist/foot percussionist Zakk Cormier have been hailed as one of Canada’s brightest up-and-coming folk acts, further enriching the mix with influences from Shetland and Ireland. “Cunning. . . fiery... fresh, yet totally traditional” (Piping Today)
