More than 60 years after his terrible crimes were committed, the name Peter Manuel still sends a shiver down spines. His trial at Glasgow’s High Court was the biggest in Scottish history with hundreds queuing for seats in the public gallery.

Local historian Peter Mortimer will be presenting an illustrated talk telling the story and looking at the facts surrounding the shocking crimes of the infamous Scottish serial killer, Peter Manuel.
