Every player in the RSNO is a star in their own right, and in this special lunchtime concert with Peter Oundjian, three of them step up and take the spotlight they deserve! Christopher Hart plays Haydn’s Trumpet Concerto: fifteen minutes of wit, fireworks and irresistibly hummable tunes. Then Maya Iwabuchi and Tom Dunn share the stage in Mozart’s moving and magnificent Sinfonia Concertante. Mozart wrote it to perform himself – and believe us, you can tell.
