We don’t know why: it just does, and whether it’s the Gallic wit of Poulenc’s delicious Sextet or Rimsky-Korsakov’s very Russian sense of the absurd, this is just pure tuneful fun from first note to last. Five of the RSNO’s principal players step into the spotlight today – and they invite you to join the fun.
