The scenic 10k of the Simplyhealth Great Women’s Run goes through the west end and along the quayside taking in some of city's most iconic buildings including Kelvingrove Art Gallery, Glasgow University, The Science Centre and the SSE Hydro to name just a few, before finishing in Kelvingrove Park.

 Local 'Bands on the Run' and Scottish Pipers will be on hand to help motivate runners all the way to the finish line.

 Finishers will receive a special goody bag including a medal, technical T-shirt, water and lots of other rewards.

There is wheelchair and pram access to all public areas using the lifts and there are free wheelchairs available to hire at reception.

The car park on Bunhouse Road is managed by City Parking. Charges are as follows:

Mon-Sun 8am-6pm

  • 1 hour £1.60
  • 2 hours £3.20
  • 3 hours £4.80
  • 4 hours £6.40
  • 5 hours £8.00
  • 10 hours £10.00

Mon-Sun 6pm-8am, £2 flat rate.

Subway

The nearest subway station is Kelvinhall.

By bus

First Bus services 2, 3 and 77 all stop outside the museum.

By Car 

Kelvin Hall is situated on Argyle Street, around 6 minutes from the M8.
