Tea and Tales is a friendly, shared reading and reminiscence group which meets in Whiteinch Library. Please come along and enjoy stories, poems and photographs that celebrate our lives in Glasgow.
Stories and poems will be read aloud (you are welcome to join in!) and we will use items from the collections at Glasgow City Archives to explore our shared past. Our first meeting has the theme, "Flashin' Yer Washin' at Whiteinch Steamie" and we'll be looking at how important The Steamie and the wash house were to local families.
This group is for older adults and is dementia friendly.
