Published over 30 years ago, Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale can be read on several levels: a feminist parable, a warning on religious and political extremism, a chilling vision of a dystopian future that seems all too close. This lively group is a chance to explore and share your thoughts on one of the key novels of our time. To reserve a place e-mail ayewrite@glasgowlife.org.uk with the subject line ‘Handmaid’s Tale’. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis
